Fraud!

You think you know somebody!
We've been planning a weekend to go see APT with the family this summer. I bought the tickets and the parental units were working on getting some hotel rooms in Spring Green.
So, I was calling my dad and getting e-mails from my stepmother going back and forth about what to do when I got this email from my darling, sweet stepmother:
Nevermind. I took a chance and called APT pretending to be you. They took care of me.
Wait. What?
You pretended to be me?
Wow. That's not a sentence I ever thought I'd read anywhere. Ever.
In the end, it really all worked out in the end as we were able to get the hotel rooms we wanted, but still... kind of disturbing.

Oh suck it. I'm resourceful, not malicious.

I said disturbing, not malicious.
So, you suck it.

I'm not sorry that you find it disturbing that I FIGURED OUT HOW TO GET A ROOM. :) Love ya and I'm looking forward to a good family weekend.

Note: I do not find it disturbing that you found a way to get us rooms. That part is awesome.

It's the means, not the ends, I find disturbing, even if they were also sort of brilliant.

That might make you some sort of evil genius. Could you touch your fingertips together and say, "Excellent?" Does that feel really comfortable? Or not?

If it makes it any better, it isn't personal. If anybody was pretending to be me I think I'd find it disturbing.

Aim higher. Really.

If it makes you feel better Nat, at least she was pretending to be you to get hotel rooms. When she pretends to be me, it is often for medical information. That is way more disturbing.

True that.
Um, I hope she'll never feel the need to do that.
Although, I never would have thought she'd be the kind of person who's so comfortable pretending to be someone else.
Maybe this is where the boy's acting streak comes from.

Hey, I think it is great when she pretends to be someone else. Sometimes when I am on the road she will call and pretend to be a, uh, well, you probably don't want to know the rest, but it is awesome!

Yuck, yuck, yuck.

Never tell me things like that. Ever.
Yuck.

Good for you guys.
Yuck.

EEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!! TMI! TMI! EEEEEEWWWWWWWWWW!!!!

I really am not so disturbed by the fact that she pretends to be sometimes (it can be helpful when I don't want to deal with the health care field); it is more that the doctors' offices just give information to anyone that knows a person's name and birthdate. So much for confidentiality, huh?

And once again, EWWWWWWWWWW!!

(by the way, the sounds of me freaking out and possibly vomiting are for Toad)
