Poor Romania

According to Sist-A and KhakiRepublican,
people who predict the end of the world and all that stuff have predicted that the anti-Christ will one day come from Romania.

(Maybe Sist-A will post a blog on how this conversation came up between them... *ahem*)

On the one hand, you have Dracula and the anti-Christ.
On the other, you have Nadia Comaneci.

All due props to Nadia Comaneci, but she really doesn't balance out the other end of that scale.

So, if you run into a Romanian in the next couple of days, be nice to them.
Heck, they might be the anti-Christ, and while I wouldn't suggest "joining ranks", you probably don't want to get on the bad side of somebody like that.
And if they aren't the anti-Christ, maybe you want to say something nice about Nadia Comaneci to them. You know, just give them that little ego boost. Let them know that we don't think Romania is all "immortal blood-suckers" and end-of-the-world-dooms-bringers.
It's the nice thing to do.
